One night, a thief entered an old grandmother's house. Carefully, he crept in and started looking for valuables.
As he was opening a drawer, suddenly the grandmother's voice was heard from the room:
"I already knew you were there! I also know your name! The police will be here to arrest you soon, Budi!"
The thief was immediately shocked. "This is bad! How does this grandmother know my name?!" he thought.
He immediately panicked and prepared to run away. But before leaving, he asked,
"Grandma, how do you know my name?"
The grandmother chuckled, then said casually:
"I just guessed... If your name isn't Budi, then you're the stupid one!"

The thief could only scratch his head, then run away, regretting ever asking!

Suatu malam, seorang maling masuk ke rumah seorang nenek tua. Dengan hati-hati, ia mengendap-endap dan mulai mencari barang berharga.
Saat dia sedang membuka laci, tiba-tiba terdengar suara nenek itu dari kamar:
"Aku sudah tahu kamu di situ! Aku juga tahu namamu! Sebentar lagi polisi akan datang menangkapmu, Budi!"
Maling itu langsung kaget. "Gawat! Kok nenek ini tahu namaku?!" pikirnya.
Dia langsung panik dan bersiap kabur. Tapi sebelum pergi, dia bertanya,
"Nenek, kok bisa tahu nama saya?"
Nenek itu tertawa kecil, lalu berkata santai:
"Aku asal tebak aja... Kalau namamu bukan Budi, berarti kamu yang bego!"

Maling itu cuma bisa garuk-garuk kepala, lalu kabur sambil menyesal pernah bertanya!
